On April 28, 2010, Siemens presents the current production status of the news high-speed train for Deutsche Bahn. It is currently being built in Krefeld-Uerdingen, Germany: the new Velaro D supertrain from Siemens. The Velaro family is already operating with success in Spain, China and Russia. From late 2011, the latest generation is also due to run in its home country: Deutsche Bahn ordered 15 high-speed trains from Siemens in 2008. Production is in full swing.
