Generational inclusion

With a workforce spanning four generations, we respect the evolving needs of our people, and we foster an inclusive workplace where everyone is valued.

Welcoming all our people

To meet the requirements of a multigenerational workforce, we tailor our working conditions as much as possible. We offer flexible working arrangements, health and safety initiatives and supportive policies and practices. We encourage lifelong learning with opportunities that bridge career stages and generations. By recognizing a range of needs and providing access to personal growth for all, we are creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.

Mentoring programs

Our many mentoring programs foster cross-generational insights and a more inclusive, forward-thinking leadership culture. In our reverse-mentoring program, young leaders mentor more seasoned peers. More experienced professionals share their expertise as mentors throughout our organizational hierarchy. And our innovative Mentor Pod Marketplace allows global colleagues to mentor each other on topics they are passionate about.

Inclusive working conditions

Through our inclusive working conditions, we accommodate the diverse needs that come with different stages of life, from studying while working to offering flexible work models and sabbaticals. We provide our people with the maximum possible flexibility, balancing factors like the specific nature of work required, scheduling needs and location requirements.

Physical and mental health

Physical and mental health and well-being are essential for our people’s ability to thrive and contribute across all stages of life. Through our broad portfolio of offerings and initiatives, such as Be Well and Work Well, we try to help nurture resilience, prevent health and safety risks at work and support overall well-being.

Lifelong learning

One key to the future success of Siemens is lifelong learning. Professional development resources span a diverse range of topics, styles and channels, including the My Learning World platform with thousands of digital learning opportunities. In 2025, for example, we invested €438 million. Continuous learning remains a key priority, as a growth mindset is critical for personal growth, long-term careers and business success.
