Kickstarter Capital: $100M boost for U.S. businesses

Kickstarter Capital for SMEs

Financing the transition to net-zero emissions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), a core part of the U.S. economy, and a source of greenhouse gas emissions.

Do you own or operate an SME?

As the backbone of our economy, you have the power to solve the global climate crisis. To help you with your sustainability journey, Siemens Financial Services will provide $100 million in financing to support the decarbonization of SMEs in the United States.

Along with financing, you will benefit from Siemens’ consulting, program management, and technology expertise to benchmark your decarbonization efforts, develop a roadmap, and obtain the products, solutions, and services needed to realize your goals. With this end-to-end strategy, Siemens will ensure that you can decarbonize your business and remain competitive in the marketplace.

“According to The World Bank, small and medium-sized enterprises represent about 90% of businesses and more than 50% of employment worldwide. ‘Small and medium’ is an understatement in the context of their collective impact and contribution to the global economy and supply chain.”

Decarbonization in Action

The Siemens Princeton Campus Microgrid is one of the first to combine renewable energy solutions with both building management and energy management solutions to achieve a carbon-neutral campus.

Siemens can provide a wide variety of financing options to provide an end-to-end carbon reduction strategy for emissions and energy efficiency, energy supply management, lighting, controls, onsite renewables and electrification, and electrifying vehicles and fleet. Common project sizes are $5-10M with a payback period of three to seven years.
