RISICOM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Siemens AG. It was founded in 1984 and is based in Grünwald. RISICOM Rückversicherung AG is an integral part of Siemens AG's financing strategy for insurable risks and exclusively underwrites Siemens-related risks: It participates in Siemens AG's own risks (e.g. through participation in Siemens AG's global insurance programs) and in insurance policies concluded by Siemens for the benefit of third parties (e.g. group life, accident and health insurance). RISICOM is licensed to conduct life and non-life reinsurance business worldwide. It is subject to supervision by BaFin (German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority).
