Accelerated design

Hybrid power units for the 2026 F1 season will require a more even split between the internal combustion engine and electric power. In addition to Siemens NX and Teamcenter software, the Red Bull Ford Powertrains team is using the simulation and test capabilities of Siemens Simcenter Star-CCM+ software to develop sustainable high-speed power units from the ground up that meet evolving F1 regulations.
