Effective December 1st 2025, Tobias Bauer assumed the role of CEO for Siemens Mobility North America. In this capacity, he provides strategic oversight for the company's operations and growth across the United States and Canada, a region comprising over 4,500 employees and more than 30 facilities.
Concurrently with his CEO duties, Mr. Bauer also holds the position of President of Rolling Stock, North America. In this capacity, he leads a team of over 2,500 professionals dedicated to the development, production, and deployment of innovative rolling stock solutions.
Since joining Siemens in 2004, Mr. Bauer has advanced through several pivotal leadership roles, notably as Head of Rail Infrastructure for North America. His extensive global career includes strategic assignments in Europe, India, Boston, New York, and currently Sacramento, California. His tenure has consistently yielded enhanced project delivery and elevated customer satisfaction, underpinned by his unwavering commitment to excellence, transparent communication, and sustainability principles.
Mr. Bauer holds a BS degree in Business Information Systems from the University of Applied Sciences, Ingolstadt, and an MBA from Columbia Business School, New York. As a recognized leader in the rail industry for over a decade, he remains a steadfast champion of Siemens Mobility’s mission to deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable transportation solutions.
