Del Costy serves as President and Managing Director for Siemens Digital Industries in the Americas. Digital Industries houses the vast automation, software, and services portfolio that Siemens has architected to support manufacturers in their digital transformation journeys.

Del’s 30-year career in industry spans operational and revenue responsibilities at large and small manufacturers and technology companies, including 20+ years of increasing responsibilities at Siemens.

This led to the development of the digital thread and digital twin concepts, now accepted across industry as a foundation of the future of manufacturing.

Del’s embraces a people-centric view of digital transformation, believing that the most successful and sustainable transformations are employee-led. He is a sought-after speaker, having delivered the vision of adaptive and autonomous enterprises to thousands across industries. He is also brought “inside” by manufacturing leaders to help them create an inspirational vision for their operations leadership teams based on Siemens own visionary transformation of its production network.

Del serves on the Board of LIFT, the Department of Defense-supported national advanced materials manufacturing innovation institute, and on the Board of the SAE Industry Technologies Consortia, which brings together industry stakeholders to develop technical solutions and standards that advance mobility, aerospace, and commercial vehicle technologies.
