"The Finance Excellence Program is a unique opportunity for me to interact with C-level executives in ways I would not have imagined before joining Siemens. It was very important to me to use my Finance Excellence journey as a learning platform to further understand Siemens while enhancing my skillset. As a project manager I supported the international expansion of a SaaS workplace intelligence platform. I then joined the Corporate M&A team, supporting a €950m-divestiture and ended my journey within the central Controlling team responsible for the quarterly reporting to the group Managing and Supervisory Boards.This broad experience was key in preparing me for my exit role as a Finance Head within the Smart Infrastructure business."

Ready to start?

In sports, talent and favorable starting conditions help, but what really matters is willpower and perseverance. The Finance Excellence Program (FEP) is no different. If you think you meet our requirements and want to accept the challenge, we look forward to receiving your application.

Strong academic record

  • Successful completion of an MBA degree or PhD
  • Outstanding diploma, Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent qualification in a finance-based course of studies

A successful career

  • Five to ten years’ professional experience in a finance function with focus on digitalization
  • Experience in leading teams and executing complex projects, e.g. in transformational context
  • At least twelve months’ work experience abroad

Dedication

  • Outstanding leadership qualities and the vision to lead change
  • Strong analytical skills including performance monitoring and financial modeling
  • Business fluency in English with strong communication skills

What to expect from our application process?

The application process for the Finance Excellence Program is designed to give you ample opportunity to show us your best. We have shortened the process to four steps. This lets us give you an optimal experience as a qualified candidate.

A careful review of your resume and supporting documents based on the criteria detailed in the qualification section above.

Each application is examined thoroughly and objectively. A response is generally provided within five business days.

Please apply with a CV and cover letter. In the letter, explain your unique motivation to join Siemens and the Finance Excellence Program and how your skills will support you during your career in Finance.
