Funding amount and object of funding

Since January 2021, building operators can apply for BEG funding for non-residential buildings from BAFA. The subsidy is 15% of eligible costs, targeting private-sector and municipal modernizations.
Funding covers:

Installation and replacement of measurement, control and regulation technology for increased building automation
Measures improving energy efficiency on the building envelope (e.g. windows, doors, wall or roof insulation)
Installation of efficient heat generators or heating technology
Measures to optimize the heating distribution system to increase energy efficiency
Specialist planning and construction supervision.
