Peter Kamps serves as Interim U.S. Chief Financial Officer, overseeing financial strategy, governance, and performance for the company’s U.S. operations. Peter also currently serves as Head of Finance for Siemens Smart Infrastructure and Buildings in the United States, where he provides financial leadership for the operating company and oversees key finance functions supporting the business.
Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Finance and Business Administration for the Siemens Building Technologies Field Organization and the Building Automation business unit, where he helped improve profit margins while driving significant sales growth.
Peter joined Siemens in 1986 and brings nearly four decades of experience across finance and commercial leadership roles. Throughout his career, he has held positions at the business unit, division, and national levels in both Germany and the United States, including more than 25 years in commercial leadership roles across small, medium, and large businesses within Siemens.
He completed a dual commercial apprenticeship with Siemens in Germany in industrial business management.
