Integrated development for a sustainable future

Corporate Citizenship in India has various ongoing initiatives. Broadly, these initiatives are creating sustainable communities through use of simple and inclusive technologies, developing innovative solutions that help sustain the environment and improve quality of life, and fostering India’s youth by making them industry-ready while making technology and knowledge accessible to a wide number of people. Access to technology

Ready access to simple, inclusive tech is transforming rural communities. Corporate Citizenship uses Siemens strengths in electrification and automation to deliver clean water, irrigation pumping, and better healthcare.

Access to education

Siemens Scholarship Program, Dual VET at government ITIs, and STEM initiatives expand quality education for economically disadvantaged communities, positively reaching over 120,000 students impacted.

Sustaining communities

Siemens has long supported people affected by natural calamities with rapid emergency relief, offering technical and financial aid to help communities meet challenges and restore or maintain essential functionality.

Beware of fraudulent mails

We caution students, parents, jobseekers, institutions, and the public that Siemens and its affiliates have not created or registered any charitable trust in India to offer any Scholarship program.

Asha 專案

透過 Asha 專案，Siemens 致力於解決農村地區嚴重的發展落差。該專案於 2012 年從摩克哈達 (Mokhada) 的一個偏遠村莊啟動，目前已擴展至馬哈拉什特拉邦內摩克哈達、帕爾加爾區 (Palghar District) 和奧蘭加巴德等地的 140 多個村莊。由於這些地區經常面臨缺水問題，集水區開發成為當務之急。

Over the years, Siemens partnered with local communities to tackle electrification, education, health, and livelihood needs, using its technologies and employee expertise to create solutions for the communities.

The project’s sustainability comes from simple, inclusive technologies managed by the community, whose governance model empowers them to overcome obstacles despite difficulties.

Interventions in watershed development give villages year‑round irrigation and livelihoods, raising incomes and reducing migration. Project Asha also improved education, electrification, water access, and overall healthcare.

Siemens 獎學金計畫——賦能未來

該計畫基於德國「雙軌制教育系統」，旨在磨練青年成為具備產業即戰力的工程師，並在工程、研發或製造領域開啟永續職涯。在此倡議下，本計畫為來自經濟弱勢家庭的優秀工程系學生提供四年獎學金。

Siemens 提供的實習、訓練、專案與導師制度，讓這些優秀人才熟悉產業動態，進而帶動其全方位發展。截至 2025 年，印度 27 個邦、150 所大學的 1,945 名學生已從 Siemens 獎學金計畫中受益。

Jigyaasa 專案——學校中的 STEM 教育

Jigyaasa 專案旨在提升學校的學習成效，並鼓勵學生追求 STEM 職涯。該專案於 2018 年啟動，截至 2025 年，已對印度六個邦、150 多所政府學校的超過 37,000 名學生產生了正面影響。

Jigyaasa 專案專注於透過「探究式學習」、獲取數位學習資源以及在師生間推廣創業自由，來培養科學精神。透過 Experimento India，我們的使命是藉由開放教育資源 (OER)，為學生量身打造一個支援地區語言的創新學習環境。我們旨在改善 STEM 教育的學習成效，為所有人培養包容且具吸引力的教育體驗。

雙軌制 VET——地方產業與學員的雙贏

政府工業訓練學院 (Government Industrial Training Institutes, ITI) 的雙軌制 VET 計畫係基於德國學徒模式。該模式採用專案式學習，並將理論課程、工作坊實作與在職訓練相互結合。

Disaster relief initiatives

Siemens 始終向受自然災害影響的人伸出援手。透過提供基本救援物資、醫療與社會援助、滿足基礎設施建設需求以及支援生計介入措施，Siemens 為即時緊急救援與應對做出了貢獻。Siemens 已為尼泊爾、斯利那加、清奈、阿薩姆邦、比哈爾邦、喀拉拉邦和奧里薩邦的受災地區提供援助。
