Brave enough to re-imagine the world around you?

People choose different careers for very different reasons. For some, it’s money. Others, it’s doing work that will change the world. Then, there are those who just want somewhere to fit in. You know what we think? Any career worth your time should offer all this and more.

Advanced skills and real-world experiences

We'll challenge you with new ways of thinking and set you targets that will make a genuine impact on the business. So, if you join us on one of our 12-month internships, you'll follow our structured Internship Development Programme (IDP) that will capture your imagination, unleash your potential and lay the foundation for a meaningful career. We've carefully designed two events and three modules to maximise your potential at your current stage in life. How did we develop them? We asked undergraduates what tools would be most valuable, and combined them with the skills companies like us are looking for.

Who can apply? And how?

The ideal person will be studying towards a relevant degree, usually in an engineering- or business-related subject. If you think you're suitable, complete our online application. After that, our process looks at your overall skills and personality. Just be yourself, ask questions and be prepared.

Application screening

Your journey starts with your application. However, we won't review your CV at this stage, as we believe skills can be developed and potential can be nurtured.

We are not so focused on what you have done — we care most about who you are and what potential you can bring.

Online behavioural assessment

If you meet our minimal requirements, you will be invited to complete an online assessment.

This inclusive approach allows us to assess if you align with our core values and demonstrate the potential we're looking for. This gives all candidates a fair chance regardless of their background.

Assessment centre interview

The final stage is an in-person assessment centre or interview. It’s designed to get to know you more, and introduce you to Siemens.

My internship has been nothing short of transformational. What's more meaningful is the incredible environment I was part of, one that trusted me, empowered me, and gave me the freedom to lead, learn, and grow
