Though the intelligent substation may stand quietly at the edge of the site, its crucial medium-voltage link makes fast charging possible. With its sealed transformer, 8DJH gas-insulated switchgear, and SIVACON S8 low-voltage board for up to six high-power chargers, it connects each station seamlessly to the public grid. All its components are communication capable to enable remote monitoring and near real-time load management that ensure the energy flows exactly where it’s needed – day in, day out.

Electrification X keeps every charger and substation connected, monitored, and optimized in near real time, from one central platform. Dynamic load management ensures efficient power use, while remote control and security features keep the entire network stable, protected, and ready to scale. And because diagnostic data is consolidated in one place, issues are resolved faster – maximizing uptime across every site.

Electrification X is built to evolve, not just to operate. Its open, vendor-neutral architecture keeps the charging network flexible as new requirements emerge: From integrating renewables to connecting with grid operators or adding new applications at scale. With Electrification X, we’ve gained full transparency across our fast-charging network. Today, more than 300 local substations are digitally connected and monitored, with the added benefit of being able to resolve many issues remotely.
