How value-based licensing works
Process Simulate X uses the same Value Based Licensing framework as NX X Manufacturing. Rather than requiring a separate licensing model, Process Simulate X capabilities are available through the shared NX X Manufacturing Value-Based Licensing pool, giving you flexible access to both manufacturing simulation and part manufacturing applications.
With that, you can mix and match Value Based Licensing with purchased add-on licenses, which are available in packs of 25, 50, and 100, and are integrated with NX X Manufacturing packs, allowing for optimized purchases from a common pool. Extend the value of your manufacturing simulation solutions with value-based licensing, which uses a shared pool of "tokens" to provide on-demand access to extend your manufacturing simulation and engineering functionality.
1. Purchase a token pack
Choose from 10, 25, or 50-token bundles based on your team’s needs.
2. Access advanced features
Launch add-on capabilities when you need them, such as manufacturing simulation for robotics or human, AI-powered simulation, among more.
3. Consume tokens while in use
Tokens are only used while an add-on functionality is active.
4. Return tokens to the pool
When finished, tokens are automatically returned for others to use.
