Siemens는 기업 시민의식 이니셔티브를 통해 인도 전역의 지역사회를 변화시켜 왔습니다. Siemens는 기술 접근성, 교육 접근성, 지역사회 지원이라는 세 가지 축을 기반으로 약속을 이행합니다.

Integrated development for a sustainable future

Corporate Citizenship in India has various ongoing initiatives. Broadly, these initiatives are creating sustainable communities through use of simple and inclusive technologies, developing innovative solutions that help sustain the environment and improve quality of life, and fostering India’s youth by making them industry-ready while making technology and knowledge accessible to a wide number of people. Access to technology

Ready access to simple, inclusive tech is transforming rural communities. Corporate Citizenship uses Siemens strengths in electrification and automation to deliver clean water, irrigation pumping, and better healthcare.

Access to education

Siemens Scholarship Program, Dual VET at government ITIs, and STEM initiatives expand quality education for economically disadvantaged communities, positively reaching over 120,000 students impacted.

Sustaining communities

Siemens has long supported people affected by natural calamities with rapid emergency relief, offering technical and financial aid to help communities meet challenges and restore or maintain essential functionality.

Project Asha

Project Asha를 통해 Siemens는 농촌 지역의 심각한 개발 부족 문제를 해결합니다. 2012년 모카다의 외딴 마을에서 시작된 이 프로젝트는 현재 마하라슈트라의 모카다, 팔가르 지구(Palghar District) 및 아우랑가바드(Aurangabad)에 있는 140개 이상의 마을로 확산되었습니다. 두 지역 모두 상시적인 물 부족에 시달리는 상황에서 유역 개발은 시급한 과제였습니다.

독일의 산학협력 교육 시스템을 기반으로 하는 이 프로그램은 청소년들이 산업계에 바로 투입 가능한 엔지니어로 성장하고 엔지니어링, R&D 또는 제조 분야에서 지속 가능한 커리어를 시작할 수 있도록 육성합니다. 이 이니셔티브에 따라, 경제적으로 어려운 가정의 우수한 공대생들에게 4년 장학금을 제공합니다.

Siemens에서 제공하는 인턴십, 교육, 프로젝트 및 멘토십은 이들 재능 있는 인재들에게 업계의 역동성을 이해할 기회를 제공하여 전인적 발전으로 이어지게 합니다. 2025년 기준으로, 인도 27개 주 150개 대학에서 총 1,945명의 학생들이 Siemens Scholarship Program의 혜택을 받았습니다.

Project Jigyaasa - 학교에서의 STEM

Project Jigyaasa는 학교에서의 학습 성과를 향상시키고 학생들이 STEM 커리어를 추구하도록 장려하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 2018년에 시작된 이 프로젝트는 2025년 기준, 인도 6개 주 150개 이상의 공립학교에서 37,000명 이상의 학생들에게 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤습니다.

Project Jigyaasa는 탐구 기반 학습, 디지털 학습 접근성 확대, 학생과 교사의 기업가적 자유 증진을 통해 과학적 사고를 함양하는 데 중점을 둡니다. Experimento India와 함께, Siemens의 사명은 지역 언어로 이용 가능한 공개 교육 자료(OER)를 통해 학생들에게 맞춤화된 혁신적인 학습 환경을 만드는 것입니다. Siemens는 STEM 교육의 학습 성과를 개선하고 모두를 위한 포용적이고 매력적인 교육 경험을 조성하는 것을 목표로 합니다.

Dual VET — 지역 업계와 연수생을 위한 상호 이익

정부 산업 교육 기관(ITI)의 Dual VET 프로그램은 독일 견습 모델을 기반으로 합니다. 이 모델은 이론, 워크숍 및 현장 실습(On-The-Job)과 연계된 프로젝트 기반 학습을 활용합니다.
