SIMOTICS SD next generation low-voltage motors are not only especially compact, efficient and reliable, but offer a further key advantage – they're ready for digitalization. Because the motors are part of your digital enterprise, they enable you to optimize your processes. A new design provides high power density despite the smaller cover size.
We currently offer two variants: SIMOTICS SD and SIMOTICS SD Add. SIMOTICS SD features higher torque characteristics, while the SIMOTIC SD Add has lower starting currents and global certificates. Significant energy savings potential can be achieved thanks to the future-oriented energy efficiency design.

Enjoy complete control over your motors, anytime and anywhere: SIMOTICS IQ offers you fast, economical access to the world of digitalization. A sensor system box mounted directly on the motor enables operating and process data such as temperature and vibration to be collected via a digital interface and transmitted to and stored in our open, cloud-based IoT operating system MindSphere. The MindApp for Simotics IQ analyzes and visualizes the collected data, transforms the data into valuable information and even defines recommended actions on the basis of that information, thereby enabling preventive service strategies, for example, and optimizing the overall process.
