Libretto doesn’t just sound like an Italian seaside town to you? Do you know which technologies we’re using to contribute to a clean and livable future?

Then we invite you to participate in the Siemens Festival Nights Quiz starting June 22, 2026! Each week, you can win a dinner for two worth €150 at the Siemens Festival Nights in the ALEX am Kapitelplatz restaurant. The Quiz is only available in German language.

Among all participants, we will draw the grand prize: a festival package for two, including premiere tickets for the 2027 production of Jedermann, hotel accommodation with buffet breakfast (travel to and from the Salzburg Festival not included). Experience an unforgettable evening in Cathedral Square with Hugo von Hofmannsthal's play "The Death of the Rich Man" and soak up the Salzburg Festival atmosphere!

Mission Statement

For 25 years now, together with the Salzburg Festival, Unitel and ORF Salzburg, we have organized the already Siemens Festival Nights, which have become a tradition. The free open-air highlight has become a cross-border attraction of the Salzburg Festival summer.

Well over a million visitors have already come to Kapitelplatz to experience historical and current festival productions in Salzburg's old town. Admission is free. We will show festival productions from Saturday, July 25 to Sunday, August 30 2026 on daylight-suitable LED screens and quality sound systems.
Our popular Siemens Breakfast Concerts, always on Saturdays at 10:00, also feature selected concert highlights from the festival program with an optional hearty breakfast in the restaurant tent.

Siemens Childrens Program presented a colorful mix of operas suitable for children
Of course, the youngest culture fans are not left out: the Siemens Childrens Program presents a colorful mix of operas suitable for children every Friday at 10:00. Highlights such as the beloved classic The Magic Flute for children provide a lot of fun for young and old.

We've taken our anniversary as an opportunity to redesign Kapitelplatz and also offer a new culinary concept. Come and be surprised!
