Why SENTRON residual current protective devices?

SENTRON RCDs combine residual current detection and overcurrent protection in one compact design to provide reliable protection for people and cables.

These RCDs are the right solution for every application and are available in different types and versions that protect against direct and indirect contact. They comply with national and international standards and offer a wide range of uniform accessories for additional functions.

Operation is convenient thanks to the separate switch position indicator and handle printing. SENTRON RCDs provide reach-around and touch protection and have an integrated manual slider actuation. They can also be easily released from the busbar assembly without tools. SENTRON 5SV RCCBs are available with an N connection on the right or left and use standard, uniform pin busbars.

Key benefits

Protect reliably

Use RCDs from the SENTRON portfolio to reliably protect different electrical circuits against fault currents.

Save space

Achieve space savings with a compact solution for residual current and line protection. Add a SENTRON 5SM6 AFD unit for protection against fault currents, overcurrent, short-circuits and arcing faults in just two modular widths.

Simplify retrofits

Make retrofits in existing systems simpler by taking advantage of the way SENTRON RCDs are designed. Slider actuation also allows for easy integration on DIN rails.
