The right LOGO! 9 device depends mainly on your supply voltage, output type, required number of inputs and outputs, and whether you need local operation or visualization.
For compact applications, a LOGO! 9 Basic Module can be the right starting point. Versions with display are suitable when users need to view values, messages or machine status directly at the device. The integrated 2.4” color touch display supports text and graphics display, touch operation and brightness adjustment.
If no local display is required, a LOGO! Pure version without display can be used — for example in control cabinets, series machines or applications where operation is handled elsewhere. If a larger local display is needed, the LOGO! 9 TDE can be added via Ethernet. It provides a 4.3” touch screen and can be used for additional operation and visualization at the machine or installation.
For applications with more signals, customers can add expansion modules. LOGO! DM8 modules add digital inputs and outputs, while LOGO! AM4 AIAQ adds analog inputs and outputs for voltage or current signals.
