Special Provisions for Use of Siemens Security Advisory

The following special provisions for the use of Siemens Security Advisories and Security Bulletins (the "Special Provisions") apply in addition to and partially amend the Siemens Terms of Use:

Permission for Use 
Siemens grants third parties the right to use, redistribute, and modify the Siemens Security Advisories and Security Bulletins published by Siemens’ ProductCERT services on https://www.siemens.com/en-us/content/cert-services/, in accordance with these Special Provisions. This includes permission for commercial use.

Modification and Redistribution
Third parties are allowed to modify the text of the Siemens Security Advisories as well as of the Security Bulletins and redistribute the modified content. However, the following conditions must be met:  

• Any modifications must be technically correct. 
• Modifications must be in line with Siemens' recommendations given in the respective Security Advisory or Security Bulletin.   

Purpose of Use
The right to use, redistribute, and modify the Siemens Security Advisories and Security Bulletins is limited to the purpose of informing the third parties' own organization, its affiliates, or its customers about specific Siemens Security Advisories or Security Bulletins.

Mandatory Link to Original
Regardless of any modifications made, all redistributed versions of the Security Advisories and Security Bulletins must include a link to the original text on the Siemens website, as a reference to the authoritative and most up-to-date source of the information.

Revocation Clause
Siemens reserves the right to revoke the permission granted under these Special Provisions at any time in case of violations of these Special Provisions or any other provisions of the Siemens Terms of Use.

Intellectual Property and Other Terms
All other provisions of the Siemens Terms of Use, including those related to Intellectual Property and to Export Control Regulations, shall remain in effect and applicable.
