Information for Users
The presence of the above symbols on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product must not be disposed of with normal office or household waste. You should contact Siemens Limited via your usual Siemens point of contact and arrange for the collection of this WEEE for appropriate environmentally sound disposal.
You have a role to play in ensuring that WEEE is reused and recycled safely. So, if you choose not to return WEEE to Siemens then you should not dispose of it in your ordinary waste bin. You should ensure that the WEEE is collected separately and sent for proper treatment at a WEEELABEX accredited facility (or EN standard equivalent) to satisfy the requirements of the Regulations.
In accordance with Regulation 19 of the Regulations, where you send Siemens products for WEEE recycling directly, you have a legal requirement to provide to us Siemens, records and documentary evidence regarding the collection and treatment of the WEEE that has been arranged by you for the previous year. These records are required one week before 31st of January every year. These are required by Siemens to comply with the obligations (as a producer) to report every year to the Environmental Protection Agency.
Further information in relation to WEEE and the relevant requirements can be found on the Environmental Protection Agenc's website.
