Brewing tradition meets modernity
Since 1887, the Maisel Brothers family brewery in Bayreuth has been brewing and producing the wheat beer speciality Maisel's Weisse or the modern Maisel & Friends beer specialities, among other things. The Maisel & Friends brewery site turns the craft into an experience. In the "Liebesbier Restaurant" there are more than 80 beers from the bottle and 21 from the barrel, plus dishes prepared with regional ingredients. With the "Liebesbier Urban Art Hotel", a smart hotel has been created that combines old buildings with modern architecture. A special highlight: All 67 rooms and the outdoor areas were individually designed by over 60 international street artists from over 30 countries.
Adapted to special needs
From the very beginning, the modernisation concept focused on the different uses of the buildings and the structural features of the listed old buildings. The potential fire and explosion hazards from the processing of highly flammable materials, such as alcohol and coffee powder, were a particular challenge. The show kitchen also required special monitoring due to the enormous heat and steam development. For the comprehensive protection of guests, staff and valuable technology park, the Sinteso fire alarm system was therefore installed.
