What might your assignment look like?
Here's an example. Abiola was an SGP participant at Siemens Mobility from 2020 to 2022.

I was born and raised in Nigeria. After my bachelor’s degree in Akure, Nigeria, I obtained a master’s degree at the prestigious Technical University of Munich, Germany.
For my first assignment, my task was to create a Business Intelligence pipeline to understand the market and competition for a new Siemens business area. This required strategic thinking, strong communication skills and the ability to create well-considered content. It was very exciting to know that I was part of a team working on future technology. Besides my assignment, I really enjoy participating in and organising events for SGP participants.
My light-bulb moment during the SGP? Realising that I can leverage such a huge ecosystem to do what I love in my career.
Ready to start?
While talent and good starting conditions help, what really makes a difference is willpower and perseverance. The Siemens Graduate Programme is no different. If you think you meet our requirements and want to accept the challenge, we’d be delighted to receive your application.

Educational background
You have completed or are about to complete your master’s studies (or equivalent) with above-average grades in engineering, business or other related disciplines.

Work experience & ambition
You have gained work experience during your studies or between your bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Also, you demonstrate willingness to take responsibility at early career stages.

Locations to start your journey

What makes the Siemens Graduate Programme truly unique is our international community and our global setup.
Start your journey at one of our SGP locations – from the Americas via Europe to Asia.
What to expect from our application process?
The SGP team believes in a thorough and holistic assessment – for us, but also for you. This is an important step in your career and we want to give you ample opportunity to understand if the programme is the right choice for you. We, on the other hand, want to get to know you, your personality, experience and capabilities. The process has three major steps, with slight country variations, but they all follow the same flow and logic.

CV Screening
A careful review of your CV and supporting documents based on the criteria detailed in the qualification section above. If you meet our basic requirements, you will be invited to the next step.

Initial interview
This initial interview will either take place in person, by telephone or as a video interview. In some countries we will also invite you to a psychometric assessment.

Assessment centre
In the last step – the assessment centre (virtual or on-site) we get to know each other. SGP decision-makers will be present, so this is the time for you to show us through the various modules that you want to make a difference.
