In 2018, Siemens initiated the Charter of Trust (CoT) to unify companies across the globe in a commitment to cybersecurity. Since its inception with just eight members, the program now has more than doubled the membership, with the most recent addition of Microsoft in 2022. The CoT has 10 principles that are essential for maintaining cybersecurity trust between government, business partners, and society. Today, Siemens is committed to operating by the 10 CoT principles in its U.S. market and encourages more of our American counterparts to sign on to the Charter.
Siemens and Microsoft are expanding access to generative AI to industries worldwide. Together, the two companies will introduce the Siemens Industrial Copilot, an AI-powered jointly developed assistant aimed at improving human-machine collaboration in manufacturing. Additionally, there will be an integration between Siemens Teamcenter and Microsoft Teams for the shop floor.
