Siemens Financial Services in Poland presents the sixth edition of the “Index MiU” report. The key objective of this study, conducted regularly since 2020, is to provide reliable insights into how companies in the metalworking, plastics processing, and food industries assess their ability to compete in the market.

The industry indicator – Index MiU – shows how the ability of enterprises to increase export activity and grow domestic sales evolves over time, including through investments in machinery and equipment parc.

The study reveals how companies perceive their readiness for market competition over the next 12 months. It also identifies the key factors influencing these assessments, as well as the most important trends and challenges that lie ahead for the industries surveyed.

The latest edition of the Index MiU report provides answers to several questions:

  • How do companies assess their current ability to compete on domestic and international markets?
  • Which factors have the greatest impact on their readiness for market competition?
  • What trends are shaping the future of the industrial sectors surveyed?
  • What challenges are entrepreneurs facing today?
  • What pre‑ecological initiatives are companies undertaking as part of their sustainability efforts?
