The training introduces the software philosophy, tool usage and navigation and the creation of basic engineering structures. It also covers tools such as queries and bulk processing, as well as topics like interfaces and work layers, essential for using COMOS. Upon completion, participants will be ready to start using COMOS and work on engineering projects.

For whom: Engineers and instructors specialized in 3D plant simulation and operator training

The training provides an introduction to the COMOS Walkinside application, covering the Viewer, Editor and Instructor products. Using an existing 3D model, it covers the basic functionalities of visualization, navigation and avatar handling. Another focus is the configuration and manipulation of scenarios within the 3D environment of a simulated plant.

Divided into three modules, this training covers the basic skills to create and manage base objects, tabs, attributes and symbols. Create and modify documents (flowcharts, datasheets, lists) and manage user profiles, groups, workspaces and permissions within a project. At the end of each module, integrated tutorials guide the participant step by step through the tool.

For whom: Users new to scripting and future COMOS administrators

Divided into four modules, this training covers the skills to create and manage scripts in COMOS, including naming conventions, Clean Code approach, Visual Basic Script usage, procedure creation, variable handling and coding in an alternative language deployable via DLL. It also covers the creation and management of attributes and tabs using database tools, as well as scripted queries. At the end of each module, integrated tutorials guide the participant step by step through the tool.
