Siemens Scholarship Program

The Siemens Scholarship Program is for meritorious first-year engineering students studying at Government Colleges who are committed to academic excellence and building a successful career.

Eligibility requirements include:

• First-year students of Government Engineering college (excluding IIT) from the following streams: Mechanical/Production, Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Science/Information Technology and Instrumentation
• Age: Up to 20 years
• SSC: Minimum 60% aggregate
• HSC or equivalent result: Minimum 50% aggregate and minimum 60% PCM aggregate
• Annual family income: Not more than Rs. 2 lakhs
• Eligibility is limited to one student per family

Yes. 50% of the scholarships are reserved for girls.

Yes. Application forms will not be accepted if any of the above eligibility conditions are not met.

The online application tool will be open for a certain period after all admissions for the first year in Government Engineering Colleges is complete.

Graduates of the program have secured placements in leading companies across various sectors, including engineering, banking, IT services, infrastructure, automotive and consumer goods, as well as Siemens.

These Siemens Scholars have become role models in their communities and colleges, inspiring many to pursue engineering careers and improving the living conditions of their families. Some have also pursued further studies.
