At the center of this shift is Manufacturing-X, the overarching initiative accelerating the digitalization of manufacturing through a connected ecosystem across domains and initiatives. Factory-X is one of its key sub-initiatives, focused specifically on helping factory operators and outfitters digitally transform shop floors and supply chains. Led by Siemens and SAP, Factory-X unites 47 partners and 10 associated partners. Through Siemens Xcelerator, Siemens provides a strong partner ecosystem and central marketplace to enable simpler, faster and scalable digital transformation.
