In its early years, SPDL primarily served the Siemens Group. Today, our company offers personnel leasing, personnel placement, and payroll services to a wide range of clients in the technology and industry sectors throughout Austria. As a result of our more than 20 years of experience, around 2,200 employees now trust us. Our company has access to a unique pool of human resources: highly qualified personnel in commercial, technical, and industrial fields, as well as in IT, technology, production, assembly, and logistics.
Personnel is a critical resource, and we help you find the employees you seek and need. To achieve this, we offer you tailored services in personnel leasing, personnel placement, and payroll services.
Labor leasing means working as an employee of SPDL (your employer) for a certain period at our client company (your hirer). This client can be a company within the Siemens Group or another company that has contracted with us. You are continuously employed on a permanent basis with SPDL. As your employer, we are responsible for ensuring compliance with all legal, collectively agreed, and social compensation claims.
Labor leasing is a modern, flexible form of work and offers (contrary to some prejudices) a variety of opportunities and perspectives. You can be employed on a short-term basis, for example, by participating in specific tasks and projects. In this case, your employment ends with the respective project's completion. The second possibility: You occupy a long-term position designed for labor leasing without an imminent end in sight. The third possibility: You are taken on as a permanent employee in the hirer's workforce. Regardless of the scenario, labor leasing at SPDL guarantees good working conditions and exciting prospects for your personal and professional development.
SPDL is generally open to a wide range of occupational groups. The primary industry focuses include sectors such as industry, technology, IT, logistics, and similar fields. SPDL employees fill a variety of roles and positions. These range from unskilled workers in manufacturing to skilled workers and project managers.
No. With SPDL, you enter a permanent employment relationship.
No, leased employees may not be disadvantaged compared to the permanent staff in a company.
Yes. As an SPDL employee, you are registered with social security, and all contributions are paid. Vacation entitlement, continued payment in case of illness, etc., apply just as in any other industry. Your salary/wage is determined by the collective agreement of the company in which you are deployed.
That depends entirely on the client and their requirements. Your assignment can last a few days, as well as several weeks or months. A permanent transfer to the hiring client's workforce is also possible after a certain period and at the client's request. This varies depending on whether short-term personnel replacement is required, such as for maternity leave coverage or project bottlenecks, or if there is a long-term need for personnel.

We offer various working time models that depend on our clients and the specific position. In the salaried sector, there are often flexible working hours and the possibility of utilizing home office options, depending on the role. We are happy to provide more detailed information during the recruiting process.
Berufundfamilie: As the first personnel service company in Austria, SPDL was granted the Berufundfamilie certification by the Federal Chancellery in 2014. This certification allows SPDL to offer its employees various benefits and information, as well as define individual family-friendly measures.
Career’s Best Recruiter: We are currently awarded the silver seal, which demonstrates that aspects of recruiting in Austria are functioning well.
ISO 9001: EN ISO 9001 establishes the minimum requirements for a quality management system that an organization must meet to provide products and services that fulfill customer expectations and any regulatory requirements. The management system should also be subject to continuous improvement. SPDL has been successfully certified in this area by Quality Austria since 2009.
SGU: Quality-conscious clients choose companies that meet their standards of safety, health, and environmental protection. With a safety certification as a personnel service provider (SCP), SPDL presents itself as a reliable partner in this regard.
Energy Management: The purpose of the international standard ISO 500001 is to enable organizations to establish systems and processes required to improve energy performance, including energy efficiency, energy use, and energy consumption. Employee FAQs
Because many questions are frequently asked for good reason, we provide you with the correct answers here.
You enter into your service contract with Siemens Personaldienstleistungen GmbH, which is also your employer. Siemens Personaldienstleistungen GmbH handles your salary and wage payments as well as manages and resolves all legal matters. You will perform your work at our client’s location, where the client acts as the "employer" and assumes operational and disciplinary leadership for the duration of your assignment. SPDL remains your employer throughout.
No, you have an unlimited employment contract. You are registered for social security from your first working day. All standard provisions such as health, unemployment, accident, and pension insurance apply to you. You are also entitled to paid vacation and continued pay in case of illness, as well as a Christmas bonus and vacation pay. Additionally, we contribute to an employee provident fund for your severance pay.
If you start work during the month (even on the second or third day), the full social insurance days are not reached, and the compensation is prorated accordingly to the relevant fraction.
If, for example, the compensation is prorated in the month of entry, a different method of calculating statutory deductions is required. The official gross-net calculators assume a full month, which results in different values.
