Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment ("WEEE")

The UK government has implemented The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 to improve the collection, treatment and recycling of WEEE.

As a producer of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), Siemens PLC is committed to complying with its obligations under the Regulations, supporting the proper treatment of WEEE and reducing the amounts going into landfill.

Registration Details

Siemens PLC is registered with the Producer Register Number (WEE/KA0054TQ) and submits reports to the Environment Agency, as required by the WEEE Regulations.

WEEE Marking

All Siemens products that are subject to the WEEE Regulations are compliant with their requirements. Such products are marked with the "crossed out wheelie bin" symbol. Information on the wheelie bin can be found on GOV.UK.
