Another step forward from automation towards autonomy

The objective was to develop a new AMR solution, called MINICART, that can be deployed across a variety of manufacturing use cases. Siemens supported dpm during the design and commissioning phases, including the vehicle safety system and CE certification. The result: a fully standardized solution based on proven SIMOVE components and 120 autonomously generated transport orders per shift at the Siemens site in Cham.

With a 20,000 m² floor area, Soudal’s new plant 5 is ready to support the company’s expanding production of sealants and foams.
