↓ 66% Scope 1 & 2

Siemens w/o SHS achieved an overall reduction of 66% for Scope 1 & 2 emissions compared to the base year 2019.

↓ 11% Total Scope 3

We have achieved an 11% reduction for our Scope 3 emissions since fiscal 2019.

694 Mt Customer Avoided Emissions

694 million metric tons of CO₂e avoided by customers cumulatively as of 2025, quantifying the positive impact of our offerings sold over their lifetime.

EcoVadis

Siemens is again awarded the Platinum medal. EcoVadis provides supplier sustainability ratings for global supply chains. Siemens improved its score to 86 points in 2025, placing it among the top 1% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis. Thanks to this rating, Siemens is being awarded the EcoVadis Platinum medal.

CDP

Siemens receives again top score from CDP: Climate A List. CDP is a leading non-profit-organization that runs a global disclosure system to help investors, companies, cities, states, and regions manage their environmental impacts. In 2025, Siemens once again achieved an “A” rating from CDP, earning a place on the Climate A List, the highest possible performance ranking and “gold standard” for corporate climate and environmental leadership.

Sustainalytics

Sustainalytics' ESG Risk Ratings measure a company’s exposure to industry-specific material ESG risks and how well a company is managing those risks.

In 2024, we were once again rated as one of the leading companies in our industry (Industrial Conglomerates) and have slightly improved our risk rating over the previous year with a score of 25.6 points (Medium Risk).

MSCI

Siemens is rated AAA in the MSCI World Index. In fiscal year 2025, Siemens was given an overall MSCI ESG rating score of AAA. In addition, Siemens is a member of the MSCI World ESG Index.The MSCI ESG Rating scores global companies on a scale of AAA (leader) to CCC (laggard) based on exposure to industry-specific ESG risks and the ability to manage those risks relative to peers.

ISS

Siemens is awarded the Prime Status. The ISS ESG Corporate Rating evaluates companies’ ESG-related risks, opportunities, and impacts along the corporate value chain. Companies are rated from D- to A+ on their sustainability performance based on an absolute best-in-class standard. For ISS ESG, Siemens again received prime status and improved its rating to a B, the best rating in our industry (Industrial Conglomerates).Prime status recognizes companies for being one of the leaders in their respective industry.
