EMO 2025

Exposition Mondiale de la Machine-Outil (EMO), the world's leading trade fair for manufacturing and automation technology, marked its 50th anniversary at the 2025 event held in Hannover, Germany, from September 22–26, 2025.

At the EMO trade fair, Siemens presented the power of a cross-domain digital thread — showing how we can take a jet engine sub-component, the hydraulic lubrication and scavenge pump, and optimize it from design to production using AI, simulation and cloud-enabled collaboration.

Highlights of EMO 2025

Humanoid robot “Hubsi”

HuBSi is Siemens humanoid robot, built on the Unitree G1 platform. HuBSi demonstrates how humanoid robots can support factory-floor and machine-tool tasks, highlighting the future of human–robot collaboration in manufacturing.

SINUMERIK Machine Tool Robot

This solution gives industrial robots the characteristics of machine tools through an intelligent control concept, enabling high-precision metal milling with a robot for the first time.

End-to-end Turbine Showcase

Siemens demonstrated how its AI-powered digital thread connects design, simulation and manufacturing using the example of a jet engine’s lubrication and scavenge pump, developed in collaboration with Rolls-Royce.

Data alliance

The launch of a groundbreaking data collaboration between leading companies and research institutions in the machine tool industry, forming the basis for the development of pioneering AI applications in industrial environments.
