Discover AI-driven cooling optimization
Siemens improved energy use with the AI-powered White Space Cooling Optimization (WSCO) system to automatically adjust cooling based on demand.

Count on infrastructure reliability
Siemens ensures reliable power supply with three lifelines: Sivacon 8PS busbars, Simosec medium-voltage switchgears and Siemens Energy high-voltage system.
Rest assured with safety measures
The Greenergy data center complex has over 3,000 infrastructural and environmental sensors, monitored on a 24/7 basis for maximized safety.
Reliability, security and connectivity

Fire prevention
Each server room is equipped with its own oxygen reduction fire prevention system which works in conjunction with a very precise smoke detection system to detect any fire instantly. Additionally, all technical rooms are designed as separate fire protection zones.
Cool down on energy demand
Temperature management is a major source of energy use in data centers. Siemens optimizes it with an AI-supported White Space Cooling Optimization (WSCO) system. When demand increases, it reacts automatically, adjusting units and airflow to match the load requirements. Data center managers control the system and facility via Desigo CC BMS. In addition, Power Manager, the latest extension module to Desigo CC, visualizes the electrical infrastructure of the data center with dashboards, providing real-time and historical data for reporting, trending, analysis, alerting, and KPI monitoring.

Three lifelines for maximized infrastructure reliability
Sivacon 8PS busbars and Simosec medium-voltage switchgears as well as a Siemens Energy high-voltage system ensure Greenergy’s reliable power supply. In addition, the substation and the plant’s transformers are connected via two redundant links. If, against all odds, both connections fail, the Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) activate. Should even this measure be affected, another lifeline exists: on-site generators power the system for up to three days without any external energy requirement.
Thanks to this elaborate safety concept, the facility achieves level three to four on the scale of infrastructure redundancy.
When we first launched the system, it improved our efficiency by approximately 30% at the push of a button.
