VA SYD, a Swedish water utility, reduced non-revenue water from 10% to under 8% using an AI-based leak detection system that identifies leaks as small as 0.5 liters per second. The solution is now expanding across its network and other Swedish municipalities.
Based in Malmö, Swedish water supplier VA SYD operates a total of around 5,000 kilometers of pipelines, 2,000 kilometers of which are for drinking water.
