Digital Services Act

Digital Services Act

The Digital Services Act (DSA, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) is an EU regulation that entered into force on 16 November 2022. It aims to establish harmonized rules for a safe, predictable, and trusted online environment. The DSA applies, among others, to hosting services that involve the storage of information provided by, and at the request of, a recipient of the service. This includes Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings of Gridscale X.

Points of contact for authorities

Article 11 of the DSA requires intermediary services to designate a single point of contact to enable direct communication with the European Commission, EU Member States' authorities, and the European Board for Digital Services regarding the application of the DSA. These authorities may contact Siemens regarding our service by sending an email to: gridscale-x-digitalservicesact.si

Communications with the email address can be in English and German.

Points of contact for recipients of the service

Reporting illegal content

If there is content on our service that you consider illegal, you can report it by sending an email to gridscale-x-digitalservicesact.si

Transparency report

Under the DSA, providers of intermediary services are required to publish annual transparency reports on their content moderation. Our transparency report, covers not only the Gridscale X portfolio offerings but also further encompasses Siemens AG’s suite of Business-to-Business (B2B) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. These applications support a wide range of functions across various sectors and industries, including but not limited to monitoring of industrial assets and analysis of machine data. These SaaS applications potentially qualify as ‘hosting services’ under the DSA. The disclosures and statements in this report apply equally to all these SaaS applications.
