More than 2,400 people cast their votes for their superheroes in April and May 2026. The winner of the public vote was FHNW graduate Selina Przyjemski. With her thesis “Turning System for Blind Swimmers”, she impressed the most voters and won CHF 5,000.The Jury Prize of the Expert Voting, awarded in May 2026 at HSLU in Horw, was clearly won by Lukas Tschabold from BFH . With his work on fiber-based endoscopy in neurosurgery, he convinced the expert jury at HSLU in Horw. The innovation enables more precise and less invasive brain surgeries and shows great potential for medical practice.

Henry explored running language servers externally to cut power use and CO₂ emissions. His superpower: outsourcing compute power to save energy and keep older hardware usable longer.

Luc has combined experimental flow measurements with simulations on inkjet printheads to precisely analyze the origin of printing defects. His superpower: juggling experimental and simulation data to optimize print quality.
