Terms and Conditions

Product development software tool for startups for the first year.

  • One year of software, including up to three licences.
  • Includes online support (community and training resources) and Siemens Global Technical Access Centre (GTAC) phone support.
  • Open to design firms and product manufacturers.
  • Open to legal entities that have been in business for three years or less, with less than US$1 million in funding and less than US$1 million in annual revenue.
  • To be eligible for this programme, an authorised representative from your business (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') must complete the application form.
  • In addition, an authorised person from Company must sign an End User Licence Agreement, which can be found here and PLM Supplemental Terms, which can be found here, along with a Siemens Industry Software Inc. ('SISW') marketing agreement, which will be provided to you by SISW.
  • The authorised person from the Company who submits the application must be 18 years or older.

    In consideration of the significant discounts provided within this agreement, customer agrees to name usage, or references to the Company, in public content including presentations, website, social media, and press and media collateral by SISW. With mutual agreement, customer may participate in one or more of the following activities: case study (written or video), testimonial, customer reference, press release and/or speaking at customer-facing events.

    SISW reserves the right to decline any application, for any reason at its sole discretion.

    If for any reason this programme is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of SISW, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this programme, SISW reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this programme.

Business Overview Statement

The person submitting an application for the PADS Professional Startup Programme on behalf of the Company certifies as the legal and authorised representative of the Company that:

  • All of the information provided to SISW on behalf of the Company is accurate and complete. If, after submission of the application, any material information changes, the Company will immediately provide updated information to SISW.
  • Except as expressly stated in this document, the Company is not connected directly or indirectly with prohibited activities.
  • The Company is not connected directly or indirectly with sales, reselling or transfer activities connected to Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea and/or Sevastopol.
    - The Company is not (i) listed as a denied party, (ii) blocked from importing or exporting, (iii) sanctioned by a US, an EU or other government entity, or (iv) being investigated by any governmental authority for a violation of export or import regulations.
  • The Company will not use the provided software for academic research or projects related to the following: cybersecurity, defence or intelligence; military, missile or UAV; Arctic offshore, deep water, or shale oil or gas exploration or production; export pipeline; nuclear; biological or chemical weapons.
