WorldSkills cooperation – vocational education

Together with WorldSkills International, we empower young talents and strengthen vocational education worldwide, sharing our expertise to drive sustainable improvements in vocational training.

Global Industry Partner of WorldSkills International

WorldSkills is what the Olympic Games are for athletes – except for vocational training. Since October 2010, Siemens has been a Global Industry Partner of WorldSkills International (WSI) – a non-profit organization that has already been active for 60 years. Its aim is to enhance the quality of vocational training worldwide and to promote a higher standard of vocational training. Following regional/national qualifying rounds, an international competition for non-academic vocations takes place every two years for participants aged 22 and under.
