Marketing consent

Subject of consent

I would like to receive marketing information from Siemens Fonds Invest GmbH (“SFI”) via electronic communication (e.g., email) or telephone based on my personal interests in SFI products and services.

In addition to the option of explicitly indicating my interests in specific products and services (e.g., via a form), SFI determines my personal interests in SFI products and services by using cookies to collect information about my visits to SFI websites – such as articles viewed, documents downloaded, the date and time of access (“usage data”) in a personal profile.

The following cookies are used (regardless of any consent to cookies that may have been provided on the siemens.com website):
ELOQUA – This cookie collects information about how visitors use the website. Duration: 13 months
ELQCOUNTRY – Used only for so-called “strict mode tracking.” This is a session cookie that stores the country code. If the country is on the “Strict Mode Country” list and the operator collects information about visitors’ usage behavior based on their IP address, the visitor must have given consent before Eloqua collects information about the visitor’s web activity. Lifespan: Session
ELQSTATUS – Lifespan: 13 months
OPTIN – Used to enable (or disable) web tracking for first-party cookie tracking. 1 means enabled. 0 means disabled. Lifespan: 13 months
The personal profile also stores information about whether and when I have opened marketing emails from SFI; SFI obtains this information by retrieving small images embedded in the emails (so-called web beacons).

The data described in the preceding paragraph (“Data”) will be used by SFI to send me marketing information (e.g., newsletters, invitations to trade shows and events, satisfaction surveys) via email regarding products and services that may be of interest to me. My data may be transferred to SFI’s Customer Relationship Management system for sales purposes. It will then be processed on the basis of SFI’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as described in the privacy policy for SFI’s websites.

My data will be deleted from the marketing automation system if it is no longer needed for marketing purposes or if I have withdrawn my consent.

Withdrawal and further information
I have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, effective for the future, by clicking on the link included in the relevant email or by sending an email to vermoegensanlagen@siemens.com.

Withdrawal means that I will no longer receive any further marketing information from SFI based on this consent.

Notwithstanding the fact that I may withdraw my consent at any time, I can technically prevent the processing of usage data by deleting the following cookies from the browsers I use:
- ELOQUA, ELQSTATUS, ELQCOUNTRY
Alternatively, I can set an opt-out cookie, which prevents the processing of usage data in the future until I give my consent again, by clicking here.
