Manufacturing and development location Krefeld

Trains have been manufactured at the Krefeld site since 1898. High-tech and cutting-edge technology from Krefeld power long-distance and regional transport around the globe. For example, the Mireo Plus H and B as well as the ICE are built here. With innovation, creativity, expertise, and decades of experience, we produce rail-bound vehicles. More than 2,000 employees work at the plant on the design, development, and production of rail vehicles and electrical components. In collaboration with Siemens Professional Education (SPE), around 100 apprentices and dual students are supported each year on their path to becoming highly qualified professionals.
