Siemens Foundation

Who We Are

The Siemens Foundation advances workforce development in focused fields, including manufacturing, electrification, and healthcare by scaling and promoting proven models of training in the United States.

Established in 1998 the Siemens Foundation has invested $174 million in the United States to support the development of U.S. workers by scaling best-practices and investing in workforce training and education. Our goal is a more just and equitable society. Through partnerships with national organizations, we work to improve individual lives and local communities.

Our approach leverages Siemens subject matter expertise with foundation assets to address societal needs. By investing in best-in-class programs of nationally recognized organizations, the Siemens Foundation maximizes its reach.

Program initiatives

We work closely with our partners to develop systemic approaches to problems faced by individuals and communities. We work nationally, by invitation only, to develop programs with non-profits, non-government organizations, community-based organizations, educational institutions, and cultural groups.
