Phishing is a tactic used by hackers to obtain personal information, such as passwords, and use them fraudulently. In spoofing, criminals attempt to impersonate another person, company, or entity to obtain financial advantages or private information.

• Check if the sender is known (verify the email address and be careful with fraudulent display names).
• Check if the email contains unsolicited information or attachments.
• Avoid opening unsolicited executable file attachments.
• Hover your mouse cursor over the sent link to verify if the content matches what is written.
• Be careful with embedded links. In this situation, type the link (website address) rather than clicking on the one provided.
• Be cautious of emails requesting urgent responses or creating pressure.
• Check if the email is digitally signed and/or encrypted.
• Look for possible spelling/grammar errors in the text.
• Contact the person before clicking or responding if you receive a suspicious email that appears to be from a colleague or family member.

Company charges can be made via bank deposit or bank slip. For payments via bank slip, Siemens' system automatically generates a document that is sent to the bank we work with.
