With the Drive Connector SINAMICS Industrial Edge application, you can fully integrate SINAMICS drive systems into the Industrial Edge platform. This allows the low-frequency and high-frequency converter data to be recorded, collected, and analyzed on-premise. This paves the way for further analysis and optimization of the drivetrain.

In addition to the adapters, you have access to a dedicated Drive Status Information page for each connected 2nd Gen SINAMICS drive to see the article, serial number, and firmware version, drive status, and temperature data for drive objects of these drives.

High-speed adapter

Available for SINAMICS CU320-2 – Continuous high-speed data acquisition up to 8 kHz to Industrial Edge (IE) Databus. This adapter enables options for advance analytics and any-time transparency about the drive system status.

Fingerprint adapter

Available for drives with internal trace function – Generate a time-defined snapshot of the drive data for data acquisition up to 2 kHz. Compare machine status at various times; enableanalytics for maintenance scheduling.
