Michael Bertolotti

Finance & Commercial Academy Student, Frimley

My first two years on the Graduate Programme were both different and exciting, working first in Corporate Compliance and then in our Wind Power business alongside studying CIMA. Six years into my Siemens career and I’ve now worked in four different areas and travelled with Siemens to six countries. After the Programme I moved into Controlling & Finance, supporting a range of businesses from software companies to large project companies. This corporate role helped me build my core finance knowledge and work with a variety of businesses and people. After three years, I was given an opportunity to move to Germany on an 18-month delegation, so I'm now working there as a Commercial Bid Manager for Siemens Mobility. I felt it was the perfect opportunity to use my finance skills whilst enhancing my market knowledge and commercial acumen. Having now built a base across finance and commercial areas, I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds.
