Siemens has obtained the Gender Equality certification, a recognition that highlights its commitment to equality and inclusion. This achievement reflects corporate policies aimed at promoting a fair workplace environment, where every employee has the same opportunities for growth and development.
The certification represents a further step toward consolidating an inclusive and diverse corporate culture that values the contribution of every individual.

The 2023 survey conducted by the Great Place to Work® Institute Italy measured the quality of Siemens’ workplace environment and the relationships between employees and managers. The survey and the resulting certification refer to employees of Siemens S.p.A.
With a rating of 951 out of 1000, UCIMU – the Association of Italian Machine Tools, Robots, and Automation Manufacturers – awarded Siemens the “Green and Blue Action” label for placing environmental, economic, and social sustainability at the core of its operations.

The Milan headquarters of Siemens S.p.A. has obtained the European EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) Certification, one of the most prestigious indicators of quality and commitment in environmental matters.
EMAS is a European certification that allows companies to evaluate, manage, and continuously improve environmental performance, ensuring better management of the environmental impact of business processes and pursuing corporate sustainability.

This certification refers to the Environmental Management System. The certificate was updated in line with the new version of the standard, which replaces the 2004 version and introduces much stricter requirements regarding environmental analysis, context analysis, risks, and opportunities.
This certification relates to the Energy Management System, aimed at optimizing consumption and energy savings.
The UNI CEI 11352:2014 standard defines the general requirements and capabilities—organizational, diagnostic, design, management, economic, and financial—that an ESCO (Energy Services Company) must possess to provide energy efficiency services and specialized activities to customers.
This is the new international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, which came into force only at the beginning of this year, and Siemens S.p.A. is among the first companies in Italy to obtain this important recognition.
The standard specifies the principles and requirements for the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and removals within Siemens’ Milan site. It also includes the requirements for designing, developing, managing, reporting, and verifying the GHG inventory.

The standard defines the principles, requirements, and guidelines for assessing the water footprint of an organization, applied to the Siemens Milan headquarters. The analysis was conducted following the life cycle approach and included the calculation of the water scarcity index to evaluate the environmental impacts associated with the consumption and degradation of water resources.
