The 6E Edge Node is an Advanced Controller Unit which can integrate with any Smart UPS at site over available protocol. The Edge Node collects parameters about the UPS health over protocol. The Controller also monitors the health of Battery Blocks using wireless Battery Voltage Sensors.
The wireless Battery Voltage Sensors connect to the leads of the batteries deployed at site and capture parameter of the battery Block Like voltage, internal impedance, temperature at the negative lead, ripple voltage. *Lugs and Cables to be procured as per battery requirement
Wireless Access Point acts as a Data Aggregator collecting the data from the different wireless Battery Voltage Sensors over 2.4GHz. The data that is collected is then sent over to the 6E Edge Node which is equipped to send the data to the Sixth Energy Platform.
The DC Current Transformer is a clamp-on Current Transformer used to measure direct current (DC) flowing through the Battery String. Depending upon the number of strings in the setup, the number of DC-CTs required will also vary.
The 6th Energy Application is deployed in a PC Server in a local network. The Application is configured to poll the data from all connected iBHMS deployments in the local network. Depending upon the data size being polled, PC server is sized. * Each deployment can also send data directly to cloud.
