Validation of laser impact tests

Tests use 2 digital cameras for 3D displacement via stereo-correlation, plus IR/log cameras. This non-contact method maps displacement onto the 3D FE model. Analysis shows 3-step sheet distortion: swells towards laser, then opposite, partially returns upon cooling.
