Why SENTRON AFDD?

The compact SENTRON arc fault detection device detects any type of arc fault and disconnects the circuit immediately – essential for an all-round protected electrical installation.

SENTRON AFDD is suitable for new buildings and installations, as well as retrofitting and modernizing existing industrial, residential or commercial buildings.

These devices can detect parallel and serial arc faults, interrupt and disconnect circuits and replace existing MCBs or attach to SENTRON MCBs or RCBOs and feature:

  • Compact design with only one modular width (MW)
  • 50% space savings in the distribution board for new installations
  • Two SENTRON series for arc detection: 5SV6 and 5SM6
  • Siemens-patented SIARC technology

ประโยชน์ที่สำคัญ

Reduce risk of electrical fire

Minimize the risks associated with modern electrical devices and increased current load, including electrical fire, even from minor defects such as damaged wire insulation, crushed cables or bent connectors.

Protect people and assets

Enable early detection of fire hazards, from the electrical line to the end device, and prevent other dangers such as electric shock or electrical system destruction in residential, commercial or industrial settings.

Maximize space savings

Replace existing circuit breakers in older buildings without adding space. AFDD features an integrated miniature circuit breaker (MCB) and has the same width as an MCB for maximum space savings on the distribution board.
