TwinMesh™ is a grid generator that complements Simcenter STAR-CCM+ to enable reliable, efficient CFD simulation of rotary positive displacement machines, including scroll and screw compressors, roots blowers, lobe, vane and gear pumps, vacuum pumps and progressive cavity pumps. It generates high-quality hexahedral grids for the rotating working chambers and delivers a fully automated workflow for simulation setup in Simcenter STAR-CCM+.
TwinMesh generates automatically high quality hexahedral grids for the rotating working chambers of rotary positive displacement machines such like screw, scroll, vane, and gear machines. In combination with Simcenter STAR-CCM+ it allows to perform reliable and accurate CFD simulation.
All required meshes for the discretization are generated automatically. Also a check of the numercial quatilty of all grids is possible prior to the simulation.
Beside automatic mesh generation and mesh import handling during a simulation run TwinMesh exports also a complete ready-to-run setup for Simcenter STAR-CCM+. A workflow demonstration is included in this offering page.
